HTML Preview
Free online HTML preview tool. Write and preview HTML code in real-time with live rendering. Test snippets, email templates and UI components instantly. All processing is local and private.
How to Use HTML Preview
Write or Paste HTML
Type or paste HTML code into the editor panel. The tool accepts full documents, partial snippets, inline CSS (style tags), and inline JavaScript. No server upload — everything stays in your browser.
See Live Preview
The preview updates in real-time as you type. Your HTML renders exactly as a browser would display it — with working styles, images, links, and forms.
Copy the Code
Once your HTML looks right, copy it and use it in your project. The tool is great for quickly testing HTML snippets, email templates, or UI components without setting up a full dev environment.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does the preview execute JavaScript?
Yes. JavaScript in your HTML (both inline and in script tags) runs in the preview. This allows you to test interactive components, event handlers, and DOM manipulation. For security, the preview runs inside an iframe sandbox — scripts can't access the parent page or make requests to other origins unless you add allow-scripts permissions.
Can I use external CSS or JavaScript?
Yes. External stylesheets (link rel="stylesheet") and scripts (script src="...") work as long as the URLs are accessible. Keep in mind that some CDN resources may have CORS policies that block loading from local previews. For the most reliable preview, use inline styles and scripts or CDN links you know are accessible.
How is this different from a code editor?
This is a quick preview tool, not a full editor. It doesn't have syntax highlighting, autocomplete, or file management. Use it when you need to quickly test an HTML snippet — an email template, a landing page section, a form layout. For full development, use a proper editor like VS Code. For sharing work, use CodePen or JSFiddle.
Will my HTML be saved?
No. Nothing is saved or sent anywhere. The preview runs entirely in your browser. If you close the tab, your work is gone. Copy your HTML before leaving the page if you want to keep it.
When to Use an HTML Preview
An HTML preview tool bridges the gap between writing code and seeing results. It's faster than setting up a local dev server for small experiments and safer than pasting untested code directly into a production page.
Common Use Cases
- Quickly testing HTML email templates before sending
- Prototyping a UI component (button, card, form) in isolation
- Debugging CSS layout issues without affecting your main project
- Teaching HTML/CSS — students can see results instantly
